The last annual meeting of the High Level Segment (HLS) of the UN-ECOSOC was held in Geneva from July 1 to 4 2013 and, for the first time in the history of this important United Nation body, it was devoted to"Science, technology and innovation, and the potential of culture, for promoting sustainable development and achieving the Millennium Development Goals” .
As an association in General consultative status with UN-ECOSOC, CERFE submitted a written contribution, based on its own experience and on that of its associates on the subject. Such contribution was received by the UN and included among the preparatory documents for the meeting.
