A “Brown Bag Lunch” (BBL) on “The Role of Social Actors in Transition Processes: An Innovative Approach from Italy” has been hosted in the World Bank’s Headquarters in Washington D.C. by the Office of the Executive Director EDs 21, last Wednesday, November 19th , 2014. This BBL has been devoted to present CERFE’s accomplishments and approaches, with a focus on the findings and policy implications of specific projects implemented in Africa and Europe related to governance and energy transition. The event has been chaired by Patrizio Pagano, Executive Director EDs 21, World Bank. After two short presentations by Alfonso Alfonsi, CERFE’s Vice President, and Gabriele Quinti, CERFE’s Director, CERFE’s activities have been discussed by Robert A. Yungu, Senior Public Sector Specialist, GGODR, World Bank, who has supervised the project on governance carried out by CERFE in Cote d’Ivoire. Around 35 World Bank staff members attended the event.
