An international workshop on people inclusion in health policies has been organised in Brasilia on December 12th and 13th 2013 by the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization and the Government of Brazil. The workshop was held at the end of an action-research project aiming to strengthen participatory approaches in health policies in Latin America and, more specifically, in Bolivia, Brazil, El Salvador and Mexico. During the workshop, Gabriele Quinti (CERFE) presented a paper titled “Participatory quality assessment of healthcare service: the Italian case”, based on a comparison between the international experiences and the italian ones.
