Titolo : CERFE Commitment in United Nations System

CERFE has been working with the United Nations system since 1983, participating in the discussion promoted at the international level and executing projects on the various themes related to its own research program (such as poverty and social exclusion, civil society and governance, migrations and populations, cities, capacity building and training, rural development and the environment) in cooperation with or in the frame of more wide programs implemented or funded by UNDP, UN Secretariat, UNICEF, WFP, WMO, UN-Habitat, UNESCO, UNV, FAO, IFAD, ILO, WHO, UNOPS and the World Bank. CERFE is in general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 1999 and actively participates in the ECOSOC promoted activities both by taking part in the work of its Commissions (social development, the advancement of women, human settlements, sustainable development, statistics) and by promoting parallel events and panels.
